A legal disclaimer
By purchasing or redeeming any wash at iShine Express Wash (iShine), you acknowledge and agree the iShine Tunnel wash involves physical contact with the vehicle by a Controlled Automated system. The Customer acknowledges entry into the wash tunnel does not constitute inspection, certification, or approval of vehicle suitability by iShine as iShine does not undertake a pre-wash inspection of vehicles unless expressly stated in writing.
By entering you acknowledge the following:

Tunnel wash components make physical contact with exterior vehicle surfaces.

Vehicles with pre-existing damage, weakened components, aftermarket modifications, non-factory fittings, fatigued items or compromised structural integrity may present increased risk of failure/damage during automated washing.

Not all vehicles are suitable to use the Tunnel wash – user discretion advised.

The wash system is designed for vehicles in standard factory configuration unless otherwise approved.

It is the Customers responsibility to inspect their vehicle before entry.
Conditions of Entry
iShine Express Wash does not undertake a pre-wash inspection of vehicles unless expressly stated in writing. Entry into the wash tunnel does not imply inspection, certification, or approval of vehicle suitability which is solely the Customers responsibility. By using the automatic tunnel wash you agree that your car is suitable for the contact wash process and that iShine Express Wash will not be held liable for any loss, damaged, broken, or dislodged items while your car is being cleaned – this includes any items dislodged or damaged from the wash and drying process - but not restricted to:

Maintenance items, Accessories, Non-standard items, Pre-existing or underlying damage, including but not limited to - adhesive failures, fatigued items, deteriorated or improperly fitted items which may present an increased risk of damage;

Items fitted to the exterior of the vehicle which would NOT reasonably expect to enter a contact carwash;

Examples included (but not limited to) ladder racks/bars, towbars, bike rack, aerials, roof racks, awnings, cracked or chipped Windscreens and glass.

Side mirrors, mirror covers, trims, mouldings, badges, emblems;

Antennas, wipers, spoilers, roof racks, snorkels, ladder racks, awnings etc;

Licence plates or plate covers, windscreens, glass panels, headlights, covers/protectors, mudflaps, tail lights, sensors, cameras;

Aftermarket items including wraps, graphics, body kits, diffusers, valve stems, non-factory accessories;

Extended bumpers, lowered suspension components, splitters, skirts, altered vehicle geometry;

Items that are loose, taped, glued, fatigued, poorly installed or previously repaired;
-
Mechanical or electrical failures occurring during or after the wash.
Vehicles enter entirely at the customer's own risk. On-site staff are not authorised to override the Conditions of Entry or Terms of Agreement.
Items below are examples of what items are not recommended, but should you choose to enter - iShine accepts no responsibility for any damage or issues that may occur - we do our best to minimise risk.
Do not be offended if you are refused entry.
Not Accepted
Failure to Follow Instructions
Our attendants are for assistance and guidance - their directions do not vary or override the entry conditions or in any way form a contract or binding commitment regards vehicle entry eligibility, liability, refunds or repairs.
iShine is not responsible for damage caused by failure to follow:

all verbal and signed directions.

keeping the vehicle in neutral, with all brakes off (including handbrakes and electronic parking brakes), and hands off the steering wheel while inside the tunnel – not fully closing windows, sunroofs, or convertible tops etc- not retracting or removing antennas or not folding in mirrors when required.

follow alignment guides or causing a collision with another vehicle or wash equipment. Not exiting the tunnel immediately once the wash is complete or upon instruction signage, causing obstruction or collision with vehicles in front or behind.

remaining attentive inside your vehicle, including using a mobile device during the wash process, which may cause distraction or accidents.
Any damage or incidents caused by failing to follow posted instructions, entry conditions, safety signage, or staff directions is the responsibility of the Customer/Driver.
Vehicle Size restrictions

Vehicles lower than 120mm ground clearance cannot be washed.

Vehicles higher than 2100mm in overall height cannot be washed.
Waiver of Liability
While the iShine Express Wash Tunnel is designed to be safe and effective, iShine is not responsible for any loss, damage or minor marks associated with the normal operation of a friction carwash. This includes contact consistent with normal automated washing operations which does not of themselves establish negligence, causation or fault by iShine Wash. Any damage or event does not constitute negligence or liability of iShine Wash equipment procedures or staff members.
It is solely the customers responsibility to advise attendant of any modifications, accessories, or vehicle suitability or conditions to staff before entry. The Customer remains solely responsible for determining vehicle suitability prior to entry.

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, iShine Wash shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from use of our facilities.

By entering, you waive any right to pursue litigation against iShine Carwash. Any dispute must first be resolved through mediation or arbitration in Queensland, Australia.
